Restored: File Shares Townsville and Cairns campuses



Who is Affected: All JCU staff and students

Service Affected:  Data sharing, other

STATUS: Unplanned Outage

 

Description: There was an issue with the virtual server infrastructure which caused a short disruption to a few services including but not limited to, shares, home drives, etc. ICT Staff have identified the root cause and are working towards fixing it to ensure it doesn’t happen again.

 

What do I need to do? ICT apologises for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. If you are still experiencing any issues with file shares or other services, please contact the IT Help Desk for further assistance.
