Planned Outage: Townsville Campus, All Network Services



Who is Affected: All JCU staff and students – Townsville Campus Only

Service Affected:  All Network Services (Computers, Telephones, WiFi)
When: 6th and 7th February 2016: 9:00am – Midnight,

ETA: 7th February 2016 – Midnight

STATUS: Planned Outage

Description: At 9:00am Saturday 6th February, ICT staff in conjunction with Juniper Networks support staff will resume work to remediate the local area network on the JCU Townsville Campus. The work will require rolling disconnections of the computer network, WiFi, and telephone services of 3-4 hours across each precinct on the campus between 9:00am and midnight on Saturday and Sunday. This will not interrupt services to any other campus, or to users connecting to JCU systems from off-campus locations.

 


What do I need to do?  Please monitor Central Computing Bulletins for further updates and schedule changes.
