Update: Network Access Townsville

Who is Affected: JCU staff, students and public services – Townsville Campus

Service Affected:  Network Access

When: 15th January 2016 – 9:00pm AEST until 15th January 2016 – 11:00pm AEST

ETA: 17th January 2016 – 7:00pm AEST until 17th January 2016 – 10:00pm AEST

Description: Short Notice access to the JCU Townsville campus network is required, to perform diagnosis and remediation works.  The vendor will have a representative onsite working with both the international JTAC and ICT Staff to address the issues being experienced in Townsville.  During these times (Friday 15th January 9-11 pm, Saturday 16th January 9-11 pm AEST and Sunday 17th January 7-10pm) network access will be unavailable, this includes:

·         On campus access into Townsville

·         Off campus access from Townsville

·         Possible outages to Public services (eStudent / getstarted)

UPDATE - Sunday 17th January 5:30pm (AEST)

Our network Vendor has requested a third Maintenance Window for further remediation works, to be carried out this evening Sunday 17th January 2016 – 7:00pm AEST until 17th January 2016 – 10:00pm AEST
