Unplanned Outage - Corporate ICT Services incl. Staffonline, FinanceOne, Student Management System, Database services



Who is Affected: All JCU staff and students
Service Affected:  All Corporate ICT Services including: Staffonline, FinanceOne, Student Management System, Database services
When: 9th November 2015 –10:40am AEST
ETA: 9th November 2015 –10:50am AEST

Description: At 10:40am (AEST) 9th November 2015, all Corporate ICT Services became unavailable after an unplanned outage resulting from hardware failure.  ICT staff have yet to determine the cause of this failure, however they have been able to restore the functionality provided by the device.  This failure affected the following corporate services:

·         Staffonline

·         FinanceOne

·         Student Management System (S.M.S.)

·         Database Services


What do I need to do? Please continue working and report any issues to
the IT Help Desk .  ICT apologises for any inconvenience this outage may have caused.
