Restored - UPS Failure, Cairns

Who is Affected: All JCU staff and students – Cairns Campus
Service Affected:  Cairns corporate services
When: 1st November 2015 – 10:20am AEST
ETA: 2nd November 2015 – 12:20pm AEST

One of the two UPS’s in Cairns failed over the weekend. While this has not currently affected any Cairns services, it does leave the core corporate services in a hazardous state, with the main data centre serviced by a single power feed.
UPDATE:  The electrical contractor has bypassed the failed UPS, so the main Data Centre in Cairns is now back on full dual power supplies and working normally.

What do I need to do?
