Unplanned Outage - JabberVideo (Movi)



Who is Affected: All JCU staff and students using JabberVideo (Movi)
Service Affected:  JabberVideo videoconferencing services
When: 20th October 2015 – 9:00am AEST
ETA: Restored 20th October 2015 – 11:30am AEST

Description: From 9am JCU JabberVideo users have been unable to log in from off campus.  It was found that authentication was failing between the external and internal servers, rejecting the log in attempt with error message "Incorrect username, password or domain".   Authentication services have been restored and service is now operating as intended.

What do I need to do?   Please contact the IT Help Desk if you are still experiencing issues as a result of this outage and require further assistance.
