Unplanned Outage - Network Services, Douglas Campus Townsville



Who is Affected: All JCU staff and students, Douglas Campus Townsville
Service Affected:  All Network Services using the Translation Service
When: 17th October 2015 – 8:00am AEST
ETA: Restored 17th October 2015 – 8:30am AEST

Description: At 8:00am (AEST) 17th October the network translation units were replaced to increase network reliability.  The following services were affected during the 30 minute replacement window: BMS, EMS, C-BUS, NEXUS, DSX, Security cameras, MBD internet, 3D Printer in the city campus, Medcam, JCELC, MFD’s, various static services and AV. All services have now been restored and all network services are working as expected.

What do I need to do?   Please contact the IT Help Desk if you are experiencing issues as a result of this outage and require further assistance.
