Restored - Network Services Cairns Campus



Who is Affected: All Cairns JCU staff and students
Service Affected:  Network services on the Cairns Campus
When: 26th September 2015 – 11am AEST
Restored: 26th September 2015 – 12pm AEST

Description: Around 11am Saturday morning Cairns campus experienced intermittent connectivity problems with all network services. ICT staff resolved the issue by 12pm. It was discovered that a failover network system did not work correctly.

What do I need to do? If you are still experiencing any phone problems try disconnecting the top blue cable at the back of the phone and reconnecting it.  Otherwise contact the IT Help Desk for further assistance. ICT apologises for any inconvenience caused by this outage.
