Unplanned Outage - Network Outage in buildings 39, 40, 41,42, Townsville



Who is Affected: All JCU staff and students in buildings 39, 40, 41,42.
Service Affected:  All Network Services
When: 15th August 2015 – 3:10pm AEST
ETA: Expect services to be restored by 4:15pm 15th August 2015

Description:  A possum has caused disruption to the main electrical switchboard, resulting in power loss to buildings 39, 40, 41,42.  This issue will be resolved as quickly as possible, with network services expected to be restored by 4: 15th August 2015.

What do I need to do?   Please contact the IT Help Desk if you are still experiencing issues as a result of this outage and require further assistance.
