Unplanned Outage - Network Connectivity Issues, Townsville Campus

Who is Affected: JCU staff and students, Townsville Campus
Service Affected:  Network Connectivity  (Internet, Email and related services)
When: Friday, 14th August 2015

Description:  Problems with a core network device have caused intermittent network connectivity to some buildings and users on Townsville campus.  Emergency maintenance work to resolve these issues is scheduled for Saturday 15th August beginning at 9:30 AM and expected to be completed by 11:30 AM AEST.  During this time users may experience intermittent network connectivity.

What do I need to do? Please contact the IT Help Desk if you are still experiencing issues as a result of this outage, after 11:30am Saturday and require further assistance.
