Unplanned Outage - All Services between Australia and Singapore



Who is Affected: All JCU staff and students, all campuses
Service Affected:  All services operating over the internet between Australia and Singapore
When: 8th January 2015
ETA: 20th January, 2015

Description: An international submarine cable linking Australia to Singapore has been severed, requiring all internet traffic to be processed via an alternate path.  Until services are fully restored, there may be poor network performance for any services operating over the internet between Australia and Singapore.
