Unplanned Outage Resolved - Homes Drives/Folders Unavailable

Who is Affected:  All JCU staff and Post Graduate students with home folders on home.ad.jcu.edu.au
Service Affected:  All Homes Drives/Folders located on the new home.ad.jcu.edu.au server
When: Today, 24th September 2014 – 8:45am AEST
ETA: Today, 24th September 2014 – 9:45am AEST

Description: There have been several reports by IT staff and clients that homes.ad.jcu.edu.au had become inaccessible.  The server hosting this service has been restarted at 9:34am today, 24th September and is now working.  IT&R staff are working to identify the cause of the disruption.

What do I need to do? Please contact the IT Help Desk for further assistance, if you believe you are experiencing problems as a result of this issue.
