Resolved - JCU-wide networking issue causing intermittent access problems



Who is Affected: All campuses
Service Affected:  Networking Services
When: 29th August 2014 – 8:30am AEST
ETA: Restored – 29th August 2014 – 3:36pm AEST

Description: The network issues affecting various JCU services (including phones) has been resolved. Further testing will continue to be undertaken to confirm the resolution. Services will be migrated back to the systems affected by the reboot, without further interruptions.

What do I need to do? At this stage it appears that the University is no longer affected by this issue. IT&R apologises for any inconvenience that this matter may have caused and if you continue to experience any network or phone related problems please contact the IT Help Desk for further assistance.
