Resolved: Phones and Network Unavailable Building 001 Floor 2 Townsville Campus

Who is Affected: JCU staff and students located in Building 001 Floor 2 Townsville Campus
Service Affected:  Phone & Network Services Unavailable
When: Today 14th July 2014 – 8am AEST
ETA: 1:30pm 14th July 2014 – 8am AEST

Description: The network issue affecting building 001 floor 2 (Townsville campus), has been identified and found to be the result of a faulty hardware component.  The faulty component has been replaced and all network services have been restored.

What do I need to do? All services have been restored, please contact the IT Help Desk if you believe you are still experiencing problems and require assistance.
