Who is affected: Anyone trying to use the JCU Website (public pages and staff intranet)
Service affected: JCU Website
When: Tomorrow, Thursday 24th April 2014
ETA if available: Full Service will be restored by 8am - Thursday, 24th April 2014

[Description]:
The current CMS application servers (www-internal and www-public) require patching to install the latest SiteStudio updates from Oracle. The www-internal and www-public servers will be unavailable between 6am and 8am tomorrow morning - Thursday, 24th April 2014.

Affected Services:

* Main JCU home page (www.jcu.edu.au) will not be updated during the outage.
* All secured websites residing on www-internal.jcu.edu.au will be unavailable (Major secured websites affected: HR, CMS Training, ICT Project, and all faculties and schools intranet websites.)
* All public websites residing on www-public.jcu.edu.au will be unavailable (Major websites affected: Courses and Degrees, Course and Subject Handbook 2009-2013, Library and Computing Services, JCU, News and Media websites will be unavailable.)

Note: The main JCU Website (www.jcu.edu.au) will not be affected by this outage.
