In this technology and innovation subject, students will complete three compulsory
modules, and will choose an additional three optional modules. The three compulsory
modules are creative entrepreneurship, technology & ethics, and statistics for innovation.
The entrepreneurship module explores creative strategies and new trends in designing,
launching and running start-ups. The ethics module will give students basic understandings
of the ethical implications of progress in everyday life and teaches them how to be
critical in the wake of advancing technologies. The statistics for innovation module
will provide a basic understanding of statistics which will help inventors understand
the degree of certainty pertaining to their inventions, the improvements they will
have and the claims they are making about their inventions and prototypes.
