This subject continues building intermediate level communicative skills across the
four macro-skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Learning Outcomes
- to equip students with the skills necessary to request passing on messages; discuss
simple medical conditions; express degrees; discuss probabilities and possibilities;
communicate successfully in reading and writing on the above topics; comprehend the
main points of the story line in a film or a TV drama; write summaries on the above;
comprehend and construct sentences at a higher level of complexity than expected in
the prerequisite subject, such as for example use the causative.
