Review of sustainable practices of asset management; industrial-scale spare parts
and warehouse management; life-cycle cost analysis of equipment; modern software-based
maintenance management systems; engagement with asset management and reliability standards;
modern failure mode and root cause analysis; reliability centred maintenance; equipment
integrity and system environment condition monitoring.
Learning Outcomes
- apply reliability engineering principles and methods to support asset management decision
making;
- apply advanced asset management concepts, techniques and strategies to enhance industrial
sustainability;
- demonstrate advanced management considerations and design implementations of decisions
relating to machine maintenance, interaction with the workforce, and asset turnover.
