Students will earn a certificate as a Barista, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA),
Hygiene (HACCP) and Covid 19 food service certificates. This will prepare students
to be work ready in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Special Assessment Requirements
This student is enrolled at JCU while attending certifications at TAFE. This is a
pass fail subject so it will not reflect on the students GPA. For quality control
and to assist the students with any issues that may arise, the students stays in touch
with the Learning Integrated Work Director through blackboard using reflection assignments
during their certifications with TAFE.
