This subject introduces contemporary concepts of career and career development, and
develops the process of personal career planning. Students will explore their individual
career aspirations, develop personal career goals, research career and employment
trends in their preferred industries, and develop an understanding of the knowledge,
skills, and capabilities required to support career success. With this knowledge students
will undertake skills gap analyses to derive personal developmental goals and prepare
