This subject provides students with a foundation knowledge of the processes of management
in local health care settings. It helps students to develop and enhance management
skills in order to prepare them for effective management within the local context.
Learning Outcomes
- demonstrate problem solving in the management arena;
- discuss the principles of management in the areas of personnel and resource management;
- implement changes necessary in their workplace for effective management of staff and
resources.
