This subject provides students with a range of strategies relevant to a career in
creative arts. Students will learn about funding streams, valuation strategies, grant
writing, employment structures and other career opportunities. In addition, students
will develop a professional folio designed to help them establish a career. A strong
work-integrated learning focus is a key part of this subject.
Learning Outcomes
- describe and discuss the nature of a career in creative arts;
- assess particular strategies required to establish a career in creative arts;
- design strategies by which to network effectively with industry practitioners and
stakeholders;
- appraise key opportunities relevant to a career in the creative arts.

- Oral > Presentation 1 - (40%) - Individual
- Performance/Practice/Product > Portfolio - (60%) - Individual.
