This subject introduces research in the field of creative arts, including theoretical
and practice-based approaches, methodologies and ethics, within the context of case
studies and projects. Students will design and pursue a research project and that
will enable them to develop in-depth insights into an area of interest.
Learning Outcomes
- identify and describe research approaches, methodologies and ethics in creative arts
practice;
- categorise and apply research approaches, methodologies and ethics within creative
arts practice;
- deconstruct appropriate research approaches, methodologies and ethics within creative
arts.
Subject Assessment
- Oral > Presentation 1 - (30%) - Individual
- Written > Project plan - (30%) - Individual
- Written > Research report - (40%) - Individual.
