In this subject, students will be exposed to both the theory and practice of a range
of digital media workflows and technology as applied to contemporary media arts practice.
Lecturers from the four disciplines will introduce students to a suite of key online
tutorials which students are required to undertake. Students are required to complete,
adapt and apply content from these tutorials. Students are required to independently
identify a suite of further tutorials, and build this learning into a self-directed
portfolio or project. In this subject, students are introduced to quality/vetted venues
or forums whereby they can submit their work for peer critique.
- apply the theory underpinning a range of digital media workflows in contemporary media
- communicate using the language of contemporary art digital media workflows;
- use practical skills in still image, moving image, intermedia, sound and design workflows;
- develop skills in self directed-learning effectively.
