This subject gives students an authentic industry work experience to facilitate the connection between theory and practice, and to heighten awareness of issues associated with professional practice in their chosen field. Immersion in a professional work environment will also support reflection on, and further development of, the graduate attributes that contribute to success transition to work after graduation. These placements will be allocated by the university on a selective basis. Students will undertake a minimum of 100 hours of supervised work in an approved industry workplace related to their field of study, with a focus on tasks and activities that are relevant to their specialisation and skill level.
