This subject provides a systematic and thorough introduction to all aspects of risk
assessment and quality project management. Special attention is given to risk Management,
defining success factors and those factors that contribute to time and cost overruns
and potentially to the failure of a project. Students will identify causes of project
failure and will recognise how to mitigate risks through proper planning in the early
phases of a new project. During this course numerous specific projects across different
industries will be analysed for the students to also understand the uniqueness of
quality project management and its role in risk mitigation.
