Students will explore the differences in the ways that business and the political economy are interrelated in some of the major trading economies. The post-World War II transformations of these economies are discussed, particular as it relates to the differential outcomes for each economy. In particular, business/government relations and the political economic choices made since Bretton Woods are a core of the class.
