This subject builds on the strategic role of operations management principles, supply chain, and global logistics through to their integrated role in the global economy generally and from an Asian/China perspective in particular. The individual building blocks are: Operations management, Supply chain management and Global logistics

Learning Outcomes

  • analyse and critically evaluate the strategic role of operations management principles, supply chain and logistics from a global and Asian perspective;
  • evaluate the role of the global economy in supply chain logistics management;
  • formulate strategies and tactics that increase firm productivity and performance in a global marketplace.
