Learning Outcomes

  • have a broad knowledge of elements of French culture through the reading programme;
  • read authentic materials from the French press with sensitivity to tone;
  • write with increasing fluency on diverse topics using academic French;
  • write in different French styles, in particular journalistic French;
  • read an avant-garde French novel;
  • reach level of social proficiency (3+ on the ISLPR scale).
