Design - generally three projects covering structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and environmental/hydraulics engineering. Where possible, these will be treated in an integrated way. In this subject, the designs will be more open-ended and oriented towards overall projects compared with earlier design subjects.

The student workload for this 3 credit point subject is approximately 130 hours.
|Assessment:||3 x class tests, one test on each of the following topics: structures 10%; geotechnical 10%; and water 10% (30%); 3 x group projects on each of the following topics: structures 23.3%; geotechnical 23.3%; and water 23.3% (70%).|
