This subject completes the clinical training for graduate medical scientists. A total
of twelve weeks clinical rotation in a medical science laboratory is achieved through
a structured program which includes ongoing written assignment, clinical case presentations
and competency assessment. This subject with BM5001 completes the requirements of
professional clinical, training required for graduate medical scientists.
Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate an advanced and integrated understanding of the chosen medical science
and clinical discipline training;
- Acquire a coherent and disciplined sets of skills, knowledge, values and professional
ethics from across all discipline areas in Medical Science and integrate and apply
theoretical and technical skills to display proficiency;
- Demonstrate proficiency in professional scientific and clinical case presentations;
- Exercise judgment to interpret and comment on data collected during practical/clinical
sessions and the interpretation of clinical case studies;
- Demonstrate a high level of autonomy and accountability;
- Research and apply a coherent and disciplined sets of skills, knowledge, values and
professional ethics from across all discipline areas in Medical Science.
