This subject is designed to provide both biomedical and biological scientists with the foundations of biochemistry including the functional components of living cells and the basic metabolic strategies adopted by living cells for the generation of energy and the synthesis of cellular components.
Attend all practicals. Obtain at least 50% in the on-course component. Obtain at least 50% in the end of semester exam.
